We started as a small collection of support groups and, while this is still a core program area for the Association, we have enriched our services to meet the needs and challenges our Parkinson’s community faces each day. We provide programs and services which are a lifeline to those living with Parkinson’s, their care partners and families in Colorado.
The Parkinson Association of the Rockies is not affiliated with any national organization and is dedicated to enhancing lives and connecting communities.
Since its formation in 1981, Parkinson Association of the Rockies has been a valuable resource to the Colorado Parkinson’s community, providing direct care services including support groups, exercise programs, in-home case assessments, educational programs, informative newsletters and an information hotline to individuals living with Parkinson’s, their families and caregivers, as well as the general community. Over the past 35 years, Parkinson Association of the Rockies has become an active association offering its members and the community tangible and innovative resources that have transformed the way patients and caregivers thrive with Parkinson’s disease.
Parkinson Association of the Rockies is a 501 (c)(3) Colorado non-profit organization and our Federal Tax ID# is 74-2212593.
